We actively campaign on a wide range of issues to enhance the business environment.
At Wirral Chamber of Commerce, we believe that Wirral is a fantastic place to do business, but we also recognise the barriers that can prevent local companies from reaching their full potential. Thatβs why we actively campaign on a wide range of issues to enhance the business environment, helping Wirral businesses succeed and grow.
Backing Wirral Businesses
With strong relationships at local, regional, and national levels, we ensure that the voices of our members are heard where it matters most, at the right time. Our business priorities and campaigns are driven by the needs of our members, setting the policy changes they want to see implemented. Through an extensive network of meetings, events, and forums, we stay in touch with the latest business challenges and opportunities.
A key part of our work involves conducting ongoing research on the regional economy, highlighted by our flagship Quarterly Economic Survey. As an accredited Chamber of Commerce, we advocate for policy changes at both local and national levels. Every quarter, we gather crucial insights from our members, enabling us to push for policies that reflect the real needs of businesses in Wirral.
Together, we can shape the future of business in Wirral.
Together, we can shape the future of business in Wirral
As a Chamber of Commerce, affiliated to British Chambers of Commerce, we provide businesses with a voice, an input into policy at the highest level of Government.
Collectively we represent hundreds of businesses and thousands of local employees and make a considerable contribution to the economy of Wirral and the wider UK.Β As a business collective what we need, and what we do, matters.
We regularly survey local business and provide the findings nationally to inform Government of the local economy and issues we are facing.
We have meetings with local and national politicians and executives, and host round table sessions for businesses to share their views and experiences directly with them.
We host the Bank of England and the British Chambers of Commerce Director General and their senior colleagues to ensure they get a good understanding of our business concerns and issues. The British Chambers of Commerce is highly respected nationally and is listened to by Government.
